"Hosting"
is simply the folder online where your website site.
"Domain name" is what people type into their
computer to find your site (www. ??? .com)
There
are two ways you can host your website.
1)
You can locate yourr own hosting solution. There are
many good sites out there. Readyhosting
is good. IPowerweb
is what i buy for all of my own sites - I have no affiliation
with them - i just love their services and package.
. I don't particularly like GoDaddy - uploading their
sites takes longer than most and they do often cost
a bit more. But it's entirely your choice. Costs should
be around $100 per year for a complete site, and you
are completely independent from me. (If you want this
option, i can help you set it up for free, if you'd
like)
2)
I can host it for you. If you host with me, the cost
is only $35 per year. I purchase the domain name and
one email account for you. To use this method, you have
to do your updates through me though, at $10 per update.
I'm also very flexible, so for some regularly scheduled
things, we may be able to secure longer-term updates
for a lower price.

always, Email Me
