| As
a competitive athlete since 1998, I still consider myself
a beginner. Early inspirations were guys like Mike Matarazzo,
Lee Priest, Aaron Baker and the like. With over 8 years
in the supplement industry, I’ve tried everything
under the sun and even been fortunate enough to be sponsored
by a few top name companies. Working the booths at shows
over the years has allowed me to cultivate a long term
mindset. Maintaining a positive attitude about your own
progress and towards the other athletes is what separates
the greats from average lifters. Businessmen like Jack,
Vinny Galanti, Mark Dugdale, even Jay Cutler show that
there can be balance for even the most hardcore. At 24,
I’m realizing that I’ve only just gotten started,
the best is definitely ahead. Overcoming to Become,

That's
what we're told to think, Sir. Btw, I'm quite a fan of your
work. I think you are fantastic for the sport. I'm just getting
started, but persistency and consistency pays dividends.

"Jack
called me almost everyday day offering suggestions regarding
my diet (carb/protein - highs/lows). He also advised me on when
to add or drop my cardio exercise. He was very supportive and
offered information on supplements such as BCAA's, Flax Seed
Oils and info on how to dry out using Green Tea and Dandelion." |

TERI
This past January, I weighed 130lbs, trained 6 days
a week and did
cardio 4 times a week for an hour. I had previously seen Jack around
in the gym, but was too shy to go up and introduce myself. After only
seeing him around a couple times, he came up to me and introduced
himself and inquired about my training. I talked to him about my
aspirations of training for a bodybuilding show and that I was
interested in speaking with another female to help answer some
questions and prep me for the show.
He then pointed me to a good friend of his, and notorious competitor,
Andrea Weston. From January until July, I went through a major body
transformation. I started off at 130lbs with 110lb lean muscle mass,
to bulking up to 165lbs with 132lbs lean muscle mass and then finally
stepping on stage at 130lbs. I placed second in the Delaware and East
Coast Classic for my first show.
I have recently competed in the First State Power Frenzy held at
the
Training Center and benched 230lbs raw for a new state record in the
165lb weight class. At the present time, I am in the midst of my phase
I bulking plan and am sitting at 180lbs. I hope to contine to bulk
and
add quality muscle throughout the 07 season and come back in 08 to
compete in the BodyRock.
Jack has given me the flashlight, shown me the road to travel and
has
been the shoulder I leaned on to help me get through my first
precontest diet. Without the help from Jack, I would have never met
the people I now call friends, nor made the incredible gains in my
body
and attitude towards training.

*BEAU UPDATE:
Well, It’s back to the grind of diet and
discipline. With a 1st place victory in the Heavyweight division on
November 11th 2006, I’m more motivated than ever. Jack and I
dialed it in and all the hard work had paid off. But not enough. I
did not win the overall title. Someone that was 49 lbs lighter than
me took the crown. Jack thinks I was robbed. Part of me agrees but
I’m actually glad I didn’t take the overall title. I now
have more desire and fight in me than ever before. I’ve come
to a profound realization as to why I do this. Is it for the fun?
Maybe a little. Is it for personal accomplishment? Maybe a little.
Is it to meet people like the Rhino and expand my Networking base.
Maybe a little. But, the biggest reason I do this it to WIN! It’s
to be the best, Period.
It’s great to have the Rhino
in my corner because I know he’ll help me realize “my
goals” as an individual in the sport. I want to be the best
and we’ve been working together to that end. He will always
give me the “good enough” option as not to beat the crap
out of me but I always choose the tougher road less traveled. This
experience has been great and I can’t wait for the next contest
in 2 weeks from now. This will be my toughest competition yet with
more competitors than I’ve ever faced. I am pumped and the Rhino’s
help, a top 3 placing is within reach. This will qualify me to compete
at the provincial level which is the equivalent to a State title.
But, I’m in it to take the overall title and will stop at nothing
to get there. It’s time to buckle up and hang on! Thanks for
everything Rhino!

BEAU'S
STORY
I competed as a Junior in 2000 here in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. At
176 lbs, I won the Junior class out of 8 competitors. I also entered
the men's category where I didn't think I'd do very well and ended
up placing 3rd out of 13 with the best abs in show award. I took 5
years off of training all together. Being young and partying seemed
to be more important at the time. Last Dec 2005, I weighed 170 flabby
lbs. I decided enough was enough and began to train again. With the
help of muscle memory, a bulked up to 260lbs. This was not even a
year ago. That's a 90 lb weight gain. My official contest weight should
be around 205lbs.
I began training for the "National Capital Classic" which
is an Eastern
Ontario regional contest. I am looking to move up the ranks as quickly
as possible. I want to compete next Sept in NY for the PDI pro qualifier.
I like PDI's style and think it's a refreshing change.
Jack's company does business with my company and that's how we met.
I sell technology that Jack finances for my customers. At 26, I own
my home, am stable in my career, have a nice new truck and a gorgeous
girlfriend that I live with who incidentally will be competing in
figure this coming May here in Ottawa at a local event. It's one fit
household. So, I'm pretty stable. It's a busy lifestyle.
My physique has made a dramatic transformation in density, maturity
and fullness since Jack has been guiding my training and nutrition.
The transformation, with the Rhino's help has been incredible. I aspire
to be a professional and Jack is becoming more and more instrumental
in that quest. I've completely succumbed to his instruction and it
has all been working fantastically. I'm very proud to be part of the
Rhino movement!!
Thanks,
Beau
